SAMSON
Southeast Sensational Seniors sponsored its first 3 day-2 night trip to experience the spiritual production on “Samson”, one of the super hero in the Bible, at Sight and Sound Millennium Theatre in Lancaster, PA. Production feature colorful characters and amazing special effects of Samson, the strongest man who ever lived “brings down the temple”. In spite of Samson’s grave failures in the end God hears his plea and used him to destroy Israel enemy.
There was also a three hour tour through nearby Amish and Mennonite farmlands. Stops included an Amish craft and animal farm, quilts, local produce market, and bake shop. Some farms raised camels for their milk. This milk is use to help children with Autism. Our guide was very knowledgeable and answered our many questions. Amish is noted for their tasty meals… and did we eat family-style dinners! Everyone had an awesome time and YES we are planning our next 3 day-2 night trip to see “Jonah” in 2017.
