Baby Dedication
Jesus loves the little children and so does the family of Southeast! On Sabbath (3/2/19), the Hollins, Hurst and Henry families celebrated the official “first step” in the life of Miss Addie Joy Hollins—the dedication of her life to the Lord.
Addie Joy was surrounded by the love and support of her parents, grandparents, great grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and church family. With her grandfather, Pastor Jerome Hurst who held her and and handed Addie to her great grandmother, Carolyn Henry, great-grandfather, Dr. Lloyd Henry, spoke and prayed words of life over her.
Family and friends came from near and far to share in this special day with Addie and her mom and dad, Charde JeRie and Anthony Hollins. Carla Lewis, aunt of the Hurst siblings and sister of First Lady, Carolyn Henry-Hurst stated that, “It was so humbling to hear my dad bless his newest great grandchild. Grandchildren and great grandchildren are indeed a heritage from the Lord.”
