When is enough, enough? When do you have enough stuff? When do you have enough of the things that you like? When do you have enough money or enough things? The answer is simple. You will never have enough material possessions because that which is material does not satisfy. The more that you acquire the more you desire. The allure of the material is fleeting. You love it once you get it, but its beauty and attraction quickly fade if you do not possess that one and only thing that truly satisfies. That one thing that completely fulfills and totally satisfies is a profound connection to God through Jesus Christ. Before you possess it, your soul is empty and void. Once you have it, there is nothing that can compare.

We live in an age when there seems to be much emptiness. People are constantly seeking the next experience, the next adventure or that superlative possession believing that once they have it, they will be complete. But let me share this one important spiritual truth with you: only Jesus satisfies. Things will never make you happy, but Jesus will make you happy with your things. You can get as much of God as you want and there is always more. And, the most amazing thing about this relationship about which I speak is...it is FREE. It comes without cost or price. It is a free gift.

It is said that in every human being there is a Godspace. That place that only God can fill...that will remain empty until you allow God to enter and fill it. Until it is filled, there is an aching emptiness that will be a source of longing and pain. Once it is filled, the joy, peace and fulfillment that only God can give will be yours. The hymn writer penned these words, "I need no other argument, I need no other plea, it is enough that Jesus died and that He died for me!" Be filled and satisfied with Christ today!
