Sister Hill feels blessed, humbled, grateful, and honored to be the recipient of The Prestigious 2017 Distinguished Alumnus award presented by Case Western Reserve University Mandel School of Applied Social Sciences during homecoming weekend at a reception held at the university. This award is the highest honor granted by the alumni association to an alumnus who has demonstrated extraordinary professional success and achievements over the span of their career.
She is the first Seventh-Day Adventist to be honored by Case Western Reserve University, ranked the number one university in The State of Ohio. She is a former two term City Councilwoman, a Published Author, and Inspirational Speaker. She wants to let everyone know especially young people, with God in your life, all things are possible. You are never too old or too young to realize your dreams. It is gratifying to have her name placed in the "School's Hall of Fame." Sister Hill will continue to remind young people that education is the key that opens doors to opportunity. She will use her voice as a catalyst for change while uplifting, inspiring, and encouraging others while giving back to the community. "To God be the glory, for great things he has done."
