Leadership Weekend 2019

Southeast SDA kicked off Leadership Weekend on Sabbath, January 26, 2019, with an Elder Ordination and Officer Installation Service. Dr. Pamala El-Jamah, Darrel Carter and Harold Martin were ordained as elders in the Seventh-Day Adventist Church and the newly elected Southeast church officers were officially installed.
Mackenzie Kambizi, Senior Pastor Ethan Temple Seventh-day Adventist Church, Trotwood (Dayton), OH, served as guest speaker for the 11:00 o’clock service and facilitator for the Leadership Lunch & Learn seminar. Leaders and other members learned how to become more effective in their departments by “staying in their lane.” Pastor Kambizi enlightened attendees on how “ministry leaders can position themselves to experience progress and success by focusing solely on their specific areas of responsibility.”
