On Wednesday October 26, 2016 Southeast turned it's reFuel Service into a Hallelujah good time.
For many years, people have raised concerns over dangers associated with trick-or-treating. Some also have concerns regarding the roots and influences of many customs and trappings associated with Halloween. Of particular concern is the emphasis on the evil, the vile, the scary, the gory and such.
Through it's Southeast ROCKS initiative the community and church were invited out for Halleujah Night. It was a night of family fun, fellowship and food. The children came dressed in wholesome customs. Over 100 children and adults came out and enjoyed the evening. The night began with a rousing song service lead Praizing Puppets Praise Team. After which there were activities for the children and young at heart to enjoy.
The feedback was so positive that the planning committee is discussing having some type of fellowship service for reFuel on a monthly basis.
