Hello Family,
Sometimes what is unsaid is more important that what is actually communicated. Learning to read between the lines, to the unspoken yet implied messages that we receive each day, is very important. Subtle yet important messages are often communicated with body language, tone, and gestures that are never shared in the spoken expression.
It is most important to be able to read between the lines in our communication with God. God speaks to us in many ways, and if we are determined to only hear from God in one way-the way that we choose or prefer-then it will be very easy for us to miss an important message that God may be trying to share with us. Our goal in communicating with God is to first listen for the voice of God that speaks to us. God speaks through God's word, preached and read. God speaks through nature...through everything that God created. God speaks to us in pictures in our minds and in the words and actions of those around us. Our task is to read between the lines and hear the voice of God as God speaks to us.
Are you listening for the voice of God in your head, your heart and in your environment? Remember there is always more to receive than meets the eye. Remember to read between the lines. Looking for a word for the Lord,
