In late October 2017, members of Southeast SDA Church participated in an American Red Cross blood drive to help save lives across their local community.
According to Veronica Felix, Personal Ministries Leader and coordinator of the blood drive, “the goal was 30 individuals and 57 members signed up.” From the 57 individuals, 10 were unable to give because of low iron and a few were out of town.
Overall, members of Southeast donated 28 pints of blood and according to Ms. Felix and the Red Cross, “84 lives are likely to be saved because of the collection.”
Thank you Southeast for taking the time to give the gift of life and thank you Sis. Felix for your coordinating efforts!
