What are you striving for in this life? What is it that you truly desire to be? Some desire to be professionally successful, while yet others simply want to be healthy and well. Some desire to be in a relationship, while others simply want to be free. Whatever you desire to be, I encourage you today with the words of our Lord. Jesus taught us to "seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness and all of these things will be added to you as well." This instruction teaches us that whatever we want to be, the pathway is through Jesus. When we seek God first and strive for a relationship with God, God will provide all of our needs, as Paul said "according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

I have often said that life is too short to live without fulfilment and too long to live with regret. You may come up with every "good" excuse that you can for not being what you feel called to be. But, in the end, you will find yourself regretting that you did not at least try to achieve your dreams.

So, let me ask you again what is it that you truly want to be? Now is the time to throw away all of your fears, doubts and inhibitions. Now is the time to take a calculated risk, take a chance and take a step toward your dreams, your goals and your destiny. The old folks use to say that, "Nothing beats a failure but a try." That means that if you don't ever try, you will never know that you could succeed. If you don't take a chance, you will never know that you could win. I believe that there is a winner in each of you, and that you can do it. So let me encourage you to take the plunge and swim into the new reality that God has in store for you. Victory can be yours in Christ Jesus.
