walker ethel Our heartfelt sympathy is extended to the family and friends of Sis. Ethel Walker, who passed away Thursday, November 12, 2020.

Ethel Walker, a loving wife to Elder Cecil Walker for 64 years was a member of the Southeast SDA Church since it was organized in 1974. She was loved and respected by all who came in contact with her. She was a dedicated leader in our church serving as the first Women's Ministry Leader, Head User, a deaconess, Women’s Auxiliary Leader, Sabbath School Superintendent, Host & Hostess Hospitality Leader, and the Allegheny West Conference Northeast Ohio Women's Ministry Coordinator. Ethel also loved to sing and was a member of the Chancel Choir. At the inception of the Sign Language Choir, it was Ethel who suggested the name, Hands In Ministry, and she was a beloved member of the H.I.M. sign choir for many years.

Our prayers are with Elder Walker, and all of the Walker family. We pray that they all find comfort in the grace of the Lord at this most difficult time.

Services will be held, Nov 22nd at 11:00 am at Southeast SDA Church, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be limited to family and a few close friends. We will broadcast LIVE on our website at se7day.org or ROKU.
