3/7/20--Southeast SDA Church bids farewell to its Pastor and first lady of 12 years, Jerome M. Hurst and Dr. Carolyn Henry-Hurst. During their time at Southeast, Pastor Hurst and First Lady Hurst worked tirelessly to fulfill the Lord's Commission to go forth and spread the gospel. The lasting impressions of their efforts can be seen through the many programs launched, relationships formed and bridges built.
Under the leadership of Pastor Jerome Hurst, Southeast's presence in the community has increased to include involvement in important social issues that impact the community, trauma response teams, creative community outreach programs, evangelism and so much more.
The congregation of Southeast and representatives from the community were present at Pastor Hurst's farewell sermon, which was titled, "Stay in the Church." Pastor Hurst and First Lady Hurst will be deeply missed in this part of the vineyard.
In heartfelt appreciation and gratitude, Southeast thanks you for your outstanding work, leadership and care for this congregation.
Blessings to you and your family always!
