It is our God-ordained task to present the Gospel, but it is the Holy Spirit’s job to convict and multiply the iMpacT.
At Southeast, we offer a Message-To-Go-Ministry, which are recorded sermon made available online after church service.
Statistics have shown that traditional church sermons may be anywhere in length from 30 minutes to an hour or more, depending on the church. The pastor may have taken 20 to 30 hours during the week to prepare the sermon. Hearers within minutes forget over 50%. After one hour, 66% is forgotten, and after six hours, 75% is lost (Ebbinghaus, 1885). So by the end of the day, three-quarters of the message is gone!
Conversely, two or three hearings beyond the initial one cause retention rate to increase to about 80%.
Scripture is called the Bread of Life. When does bread have the greatest impact and taste? Right when it is pulled out of the oven eaten warm, or a week later?
All Sermons are FREE. You can access the sermon video under the Media & RESOURCES TAB. FOR IPAD & Tablet uses download the "Church app" using your App Store. Search for Southeast 7th Day.
