Children's Ministry

Lower Division – Sabbath School

Cradle Roll: birth–3 years old

Kindergarten: 3–5 years old

Primary: 6–9 years old (grades 1–4)

Juniors: 10–11 years old (grade 5–6)

Early Teens: 12–13 years old (grades 7–8)

 

During Divine Worship for one Sabbath each month, our children gather for fun, music, videos and games. It allows our children to participate in worship service geared towards them, and also allows their parents to fully enjoy their worship service one Sabbath a month.

 

Vacation Bible School (VBS)

Southeast’s Vacation Bible School is a fun-filled, spiritual adventure for boys and girls from 3 to 12 years of age that is held for one week during the summer. Structured as a free outreach program, children are encouraged to invite their family, friends and children from the community.

 

With fun take-homes and craft projects, catchy theme songs, and Bible drama, children get excited learning about Jesus. Vacation Bible School focuses on meeting children’s spiritual needs at their level and helping them get to know Jesus in a personal way.

 

Southeast Tigers

 

Southeast Basketball teams participates in the Allegheny West Basketball League and offers recreation for our youth ages 10 and above who loves playing basketball. Every year Southeast plays in a youth church basketball league. Players as young as ages 10 can take part. The season starts in the fall and goes through early spring. There are playoffs and a championship game for each group. Our teams have been in the finals for their respective divisions for the past 6 years.

 

These games provide an opportunity for our young people to engage in fun and competitive activity. It also provides an opportunity for members to fellowship with each other in an environment outside of church. Once you attend one game, we are sure you will be hooked and keep coming back for more fun!
