Walking in Light
Hello Family,
Light is a concept that is universally used to describe vision, sight and enlightenment. It is synonymous with an awareness of a greater or higher understanding. The Bible often speaks of light as the knowledge of God and as such refers to that knowledge as the antithesis of being in darkness.
Walking in light is walking in the awareness and understanding of God. The New Testament describes this light as Jesus Christ, the long expected Messiah who has come to save His people for their sins. He is the light of the world...just as much today as He was two thousand years ago. Walking in light is walking with Christ.
Many seek and see other knowledge and insight as the highest form of enlightenment. But, for the believer there is no greater enlightenment than the knowledge of God that we attain through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Are you walking in light today? Do you know Jesus for yourself, or is He simply to you, a character in a Biblical narrative?
Get to know Him in a personal way and watch how the light will shine in and through you. In His light,
