jerome hurst Hello Family,

All of us are called upon to make decisions and choices in our lives. We must decide which direction is the best for us. Whether it is in our careers or our personal lives or our spiritual lives, making the right move is imperative. God desires for all of God's children to live full, rich and abundant lives. Whether we experience this or not is often determined by the moves that we make.

It has been said that choosing a mate is the most important choice that we make in life, but I disagree. I firmly believe that choosing to follow Christ is the most important move that anyone can make and that all other decisions and choices flow from that one pivotal choice. When we decide to follow Christ, our steps take on a new direction because they are ordered by the Lord.

In these tenuous times in which we live, the moves that we make are even more important. Making moves that are motivated by lust or greed will always bring destruction. When you follow Christ, your moves should be motivated by your desire to do the will of God. When we do God's will, our choices lead us to peace and hope and joy and love. Make the right moves today.
