jerome hurstGood Day Family,

Have you ever used the phrase, "I need it yesterday," signifying your impatience about something that you desire? If you have, then you are like most people. Most of us do not want to wait for the things that we desire in life. We want it now. We want our progress, our growth and our advancement now. One of the things that I have learned from life is that there are some things that you must wait for. These are the things that come with time and experience and, most of all, patient perseverance.

Many things in life come one step at a time. Anyone who has experienced recovery from an illness or surgery knows that it takes time and it cannot be rushed. You must be patient, methodical, and determined to reach your goal, but you cannot rush the process.

What do you want today? What are the desires of your heart...the things that you long for most? Whatever you desire that is in the will of God, God wants to give you, but it must be in God's time. Remember God's time is not our time, so you must be patient and have faith and trust that God will fulfill God's promise to provide. Then sit back and enjoy the process of growth and change in your life. It will happen for you!

In expectation,

Pastor J. M. Hurst
